Georgia Behavior Analyst Fieldwork Requirements

BCBA certification requires either 1,500 hours of concentrated supervised fieldwork or 2,000 hours of supervised fieldwork. As soon as the meeting of the first class of your master’s program ends, you can start working towards this fieldwork. Some programs will feature practicum requirements that will require you to complete some or all of this fieldwork as part of your degree. Other programs will not have fieldwork requirements so you will need to get experience on your own. Georgia Southern University – Armstrong

Georgia Southern University – Armstrong offers an MS in Psychology with a Behavior Analysis Concentration. This on campus program is 31 credit hours. There is an elective practicum component where some of the fieldwork necessary for BCBA certification can be fulfilled.

Georgia State University

Georgia State University offers a MS in Applied Behavior Analysis on its campus. This 36 semester hour program. Fieldwork is part of the curriculum.

University of Georgia

University of Georgia offers a MS in Applied Behavior Analysis on its campus. This 42 credit program includes 12 credits of practicum – students will need to supplement with additional hours before becoming eligible for the BCBA exam.
